Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops chocolate gelato (about 300g)

  • 1 tbsp hazelnut & caramel spread

  • 300ml full cream milk, chilled

  • Whipped cream, to serve

  • Crushed roasted hazelnuts, to garnish

Method:

  1. Place the chocolate gelato, spread and milk into a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, thick and creamy - about 20 seconds.

  2. If using, drizzle chocolate syrup or melted chocolate around the inside of two tall glasses. Pour in the thickshake and top with whipped cream.

  3. Finish with a sprinkle of crushed hazelnuts and a small swirl of Penotti on top for that café-style finish. Serve immediately with a wide straw or long spoon.
